Watt-hour reading on Variable frequency drive:
On VFD Compressor loading time is 20hrs. & Unloading time is 4hrs.
Pressure set point is = 6.8Bar
On loading reading:

  Other important advantages of connecting VFD to the compressor :  
  1. Inrush current & inrush demand will reduce.
  2. As compressor is always on load condition, no fluctuations of demand will occur surge load on system, compressor life will increase.
  3. 20% energy saving due to reduction in copper losses, hysteresis losses & improvement in power factor to unity.
  4. Maximum demand will reduce & present P.F. of 0.8 will improve to unity.
  5. On generator, keeping present load constant, additional load can be given due to reduction in demand & absence of inrush current.
  6. Discharge temp. will reduce.
  7. Mechanical life of compressor will increase due to absence of load /unload pattern.
  8. Present starter will available as spare.
  9. Exact amount of CFM by production demand will be delivered with minimum power consumption.
